Use correct sentience formatting rules, a space after the colon: semi-colon; comma, full stop. and exclamation! characters. NEW! logo after 10 years the tread board needed repainting, if any remember the old Green text logo might remember how the tread patten ended up becoming the background. The photos have also been upgraded to add logo's and date/time stamps to the images on upload so that the photos are noticeable for people linking to them.

Details: I'm looking for a supplier who can cut a piece of brass sheet which will be used in the same way as boiler banding. Details: This is a very well specified Pultra 1750 lathe. I put this set together some time ago, intending to keep it for my personal use but, after over 2 years of not cutting metal - I realise I'll never really use it - so someone else should have the pleasure of using it. The set consists of the lathe/motor unit, mounted on a wooden base, plus two (genuine Pultra) boxes of accessories. The headstock has been stripped/cleaned and re-built (so may, possibly, require minor adjustment after 'bedding in'. It's got a 'lever action' tailstock and is driven by an electronically controlled, 550W, industrial sewing machine motor - capable of being adjusted between 100 and 4500 rpm (in increments of 100 rpm). Given the ratio of the pulleys, this gives a headstock speed of, approximately, 80 - 4000 rpm. There is also an, adjustable brightness, LED work light. Box 1 of the accessories contains 57 'wire' collets, 8 large diameter collets, 4 cup-chucks, a 3-jaw chuck (Bernerd, with 'reversible' jaws), a 4-jaw chuck (brand new), a 'box chuck', a faceplate, a catchplate, a tailstock drill chuck, 'lantern' and 'block' toolposts, various centres (full, half and 'internal'), plus holders and various sized drive dogs. Box 2 contains a compound slide and clamp bolt, tailstock and headstock riser blocks (increases the centre height), a 'flip-over' tool-rest, a rear tool-post mount and 'high' (for use with the riser blocks) and 'low' 'lantern' type toolposts. Details: A Myford ML10 leadscrew and pinion in fair, but used, condition. There is some wear at the headstock end of the leadscrew but the reason why it was removed from the lathe was to fit a clutch and a new split leadscrew. The price includes postage, knock a tenner off if you intend to collect. It would be sent Royal Mail, tracked and 'signed-for' and strapped to a stiff batten to prevent bending in transit.

Details: Ended my camera repair business a year ago after 40 years. After hanging on for a year in case I changed my mind I have decided to get rid of everything! This includes spares,scrap,test equipment, etc, etc. Hard to do,but need the space and need to move on. Looking back I have probably repaired about 20,000 cameras and lenses etc for shops, professionals etc. I want the whole lot gone and would get a lot more if I was prepared to sell separately! Details: Optical drill chuck with morse 3 arbor and Jacobs 5/8 capacity chuck. Perfect for use in a tailstock to line up on a centre pop mark in a 4 jaw chuck. Works like a rifle sight with cross hairs, look through the lens and see the workpiece straight down the jaws of the drill chuck. Quite a rare piece to find, in a purpose made wooden box. I'd prefer collection as it is heavy and as an optical item fairly delicate. I will post at the buyers expense.
Details: This is a 1970 manufactured Myford ML7 lathe - for full specifications, please see the, excellent, 'lathes.co.uk' web site. This lathe has the, optional, long cross-slide and also the, optional, headstock clutch. It's just been fitted with a, brand new, never used, 4" 3-jaw chuck (both sets of jaws, plus chuck key) and a brand new 'no volt release' push-button stater. It's driven by a 240V, single phase (standard 13A plug) 370 Watt (1/2 hp), 'resilient mount' 'Brook Compton Parkinson' motor. Also supplied is a full set of change-wheels (for screw-cutting), a 6" 4-jaw chuck (and key), a 1/2" tailstock chuck (and key), a set of, carbide tipped, turning tools and a basic toolkit (spanners and Allen keys - including the vital 'cut-down' one for the back-gear). Overall condition is excellent - as far as I can tell, it's the original paint, there are no significant 'dings' on the bed and everything is clean, all the gear teeth (including the all-important back-gears) are intact (and many are 'sharp - indicating little, if any, use). All in all, a very nice example of this classic machine! Either collection in person (from Nawton, North Yorkshire), or I can put it on a pallet and arrange shipping (probably about £120 - depends on where you live).
